WELCOME

Thank you very much for visiting my website and have fun browsing. I'd feel honoured to draw a bespoke portrait for you. Please check my Gallery and feel free to contact me.

COMMISSIONS

Commissioning is a very individual way of working on drawings. My aim is not to just draw a person or an animal, it is to bring out the character and soul of the individual. I love working very detailed and based on realism. This is why it takes me about 35 hours to finish a DIN A4 drawing.

I use your favourite photographs as reference and add high quality materials such as Faber Castell Polychromos, Caran D'Ache Luminace and Pablo and Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Paper for my work to ensure the best outcome and a high longevity. The finished work is matted in a passe-partout.

Note: The higher the quality and clarity of the reference photo, the more detailed the drawing will be in the end.

Please feel free to get in touch with me for discussing your portrait.

ABOUT

My name is Julia and I'm a self-taught animal and portrait artist from Germany and an absolute dog lover. Already during my childhood I was passionate about drawing. After I finished school and my studies and started working full-time, I've rediscovered drawing as a way to compensate. Starting with portraits of pets, which I gave away for birthdays, I received more and more requests that made me improve my skills continuously.
Through recommendations I was then able to expand my radius and thought it might be the time to create an own website and Instagram now. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
